Vac Truck Operator

Metro Utility Excavations requires a full time Vac Truck Operator to perform hydro excavation works on our work sites in the gas industry. As our Vac Truck Operator, you will be required to perform all duties associated with hydro excavation to expose gas mains and services.

The successful applicant will take charge of our Vermeer Mega Vac Truck and will be required to:

• Fill unit with water
• Vac continuously on a daily basis
• Dispose of spoil daily
• Maintain and look after the truck meticulously
• Work to a high standard
• Maintain a strong work ethic
• Experience driving HR trucks and Operating a vac truck is essential.
• Experience performing vac truck works on gas work sites and tier 1 construction sites may be an advantage when applying.
